I've finally joined after referencing this site for a a few months. I got into rifle shooting really late on the life clock but I'm all in now, joined two different club looking to join a third to shoot longer ranges; here in New York finding places to shoot isn't too hard for 1nything under 200 yds, but longer is real detective work to find a place. Making tight groups at long ranges is my best way to prep for the next few years of hunting the great western ranges. I plan on spending a couple of months now every year, hunting in two or three states and long range shooting skills cannot be bought so I'm learning everything I can. Expect I'll travel to shoot competitions on the east coast whenever I can find them.
