Hello from Virginia

I'm new to Long Range hunting. I've been a hunter for many years, just have not stretched out the shots. I'm waiting on my new .264 Win Mag. My primary method of hunting is with Traditional Archery tackle, but I normally take a couple of deer with the rifle each year. Though I live in Virginia I do most of my hunting in NC.

Howdy and welcome. never owned a 264 but I would think it would be an excellent round for deer, how long of shots are you expecting?

We have one field where I can get a 600 yd shot.
