I purchased a general b tag for the Sawtooth region for elk this fall...this is the first time I have ever tried to hunt in Idaho. any info would be a big help to me, I am wondering about the 36 unit mostly.....thank you..

About 7-8 years who it was AWESOME. The wolves have prettywell destroyed it last time I was there. Is call Deadwood Outfitters & talk to the Carters in Baker. They run a lot of guided hunts in the Sawtooths. They may be able to give you more up to date advise.

Im originally from Baker, was on the TVCC rodeo team with thier daughter Erin, so they know me. They're great folks. Hard working, & honest too. Whatever they say, you can take to the bank.
