Hi Fellas,

Found this site looking for hunting forums and I really like the informative advise from the many forum members. I mainly use a Winchester 300 WSM that I hunt wild dogs/dingoes and the occasional deer with, I also like to shoot sporting clays and hunt ducks and quail.
I just like to lurk on this site as just about every topic and question is raised and answered that I can get all the information I need!
Keep up the good work.

Cheers

JAWZ, thanks mate, I know what you are saying, I'm like a kid in a candy store at the moment! It's a pity the Aussie $ has slipped below 90c thoughm might have to wait awhile!

welcome mate, heaps of good info here... and yes, this site has cost me ALOT of money too!

if you interested in anything special, i can help you with all the 'interesting' stuff mostly from overseas that our local gunshops dont really know about or deal in.

There is a vast amount of experience and knowledge that will blow your mind - just great!

Enjoy and tell your mates!lightbulb

(As most aussies just don't get the long range hunting idea, they think long range is past 200 meters...)

Cheers.

groper's scope looks like a falcon menace,i just wanna know how its holding up on the big boomer.

It IS a falcon actually, 5.5-25x50 FFP mil-mil. So far its working great... for under $500AUD it blows anything else i could compare it to upto about $2.5k outa the water. I figured id try one and if it dies then i havnt lost much and ill put something nice and expensive on it :( . The choices are very limited in mil-mil FFP scopes... i dont work in MOA...

The recoil is so mild on this gun tho, i dont think its really giving it much of a test...?

Ok scratch my last comment, the scope lasted precisely 70 rounds on this gun, its now busted internally. Going back for warranty...

Oh mate you jinxed it, pretty funny though, what scope are you hoping to put on it eventually.
