I live in west central Illinois. Love reading all the info on this site. Not really a LR hunter (yet) so a lot is over my head but still interesting. Have a first time elk hunting trip planned for next fall in CO. Bought a savage 116 7mm rem mag: waiting for good weather to test some handloads. Mostly hunt deer, turkey, and coyotes. Killed my first (w/ a muzzleloader) Sat. @ 160yrds. Looks like i can gain alot of know from many people on this site. Thanks for sharing all the info.
