Hello, I've been reading the Long Range Hunting for a while and thought I would jump on board. Shooting rifles and reloading has been a hobby of mine for more than 25 years. Used to think I needed a 300 Win Mag for everything, now I shoot mostly 6mm ackley, 25/06 and 270's. I suppose technology changed the way I shoot long range, rangefinders and target knobs, so now I'm able to reach out there and hit those long range targets with a lot less horsepower. Also, the smaller calibers are a lot more enjoyable to shoot, for me anyway. Looking forward to being a part of the forums.
