Erik hiked over 2 miles into public backland. After settling into a good spot Does started working below him. With almost no wind he heard two Bucks fighting below him. He glasses hard through the fog and icy snow and found the epic battle. He positioned himself 10ft above a drop off. Got prone, ranged in the Buck at 440 yards, squeezed off the 101gr Hammer Hunter bullet from his 6mm Creedmoor. The Buck folded where it stood. Then the hard work of cleaning and packing out his "big old chocolate horned bruiser!" Congratulations Erik on a Epic Buck and a hard earned hunt!
