handgun storage in a safe

I am looking for ideas on how to store my handguns in the safe which is mostly full of long guns.

I really like how they look on those little racks that you slide the barrel over and it hangs from a shelf... but I hate the idea of having steel in my barrel. Am I the only one like this? Is it ridiculous that I think that way?

I'm looking for some sort of cradle to hold the bottom of the grip and bottom of the barrel and mount to the door of the safe.

Those steel hangers are dipped in a rubbery plastic so it never touches the barrel
