Call Hammer (Steve) and he can send sample packs. It's on their website. The Absolutes require good pressure reading skills to wring out powder/speed tests without going over pressure. I think it will be quicker than the hunters. Your rifle and brass will tell you where you land on speed between those two.

You are correct about the velocity but hammers don't expand, they shed petals
