Where do I find this GL Taylor data? Thanks

Yeah that's the plan. That's why I was wanting to know if they were really seeing a 150-200 fps increase with the AH? I may need to go a different route. I cant get there with HH. Looks like about 450 max @ 2000 to open. With AB I can get to 600 @1800 still with 1000flbs.

Make sure you have the velocity at the 500 yard mark to make the bullet will expand properly with the shorter barrel.
Does the general rule of energy Apply to mono bullets as well? 1500 foot pounds for elk and 1000 for deer? Usually with the lighter monos the energy drops quickly at distance

I think the first company to come up with a softer denser copper mix wins the game. somebody got to think outside the box. They said we would never fly but we did, or go to moon but we did. Cant shouldn't be a option.

I think the Hammer folks have. CEB feel similar. Barnes, E-Tip, GMX-NOPE! Those are hard. They have open tips or tips to "aid" in expansion.

Hammers peel and shed. If a Barnes' loses a petal, folks call it a failure...

I guess I am a Hammer supporter...

I would agree but they don't open at long range speeds.

Not on Hammers, impact velocity is what is critical
Why is impact velocity more important with monos? I know they need speed to open, but why isn't energy as important? I am getting ready to load some mono for elk and trying to figure out their MER.

Energy numbers are not static and can be changed by a bunch of variables, Folks put too much emphasis on them IMO
