Not a 6.5 PRC, but the 124 HH and H4831sc is a great combo in my 6.5 Sherman. I'm using 60.2 grains and Fed 210GM primers at 3,410 fps. Showed slightly better accuracy than RL-23 in my rifle. Performed well on five whitetails last season.
From my experiences so far with hammers in 3 different cartridges, it's pretty hard to find a powder that won't work (within reason). I have used H4831 in my 300PRC (which is on the fast side for 300 PRC powders) and easily got 1/2MOA. I then tried N570 (super slow) and also got 1/2MOA. I've been playing with them in my 25-06 and 270Win as well and have been super happy. I was working up a 270Win load with the 124gr. and N560 over the weekend and I'm getting excellent results so far. I just don't think you can go wrong if you pick a reasonably appropriate powder speed and have reasonable call fill %. I prefer to stay between 95-102% as that is where I have often found the best results in my rifles.

I shoot hammers in a number of different cartridges and find that mine do best when I find the fastest powder that will give me 95+% case fill. All of mine shoot .5 or better and most .2 or better. YMMV

Worked up to 56.0 gr 4831sc today. Shooting 3100 fps with adg brass and Cci-br2 primers. Seems like plenty of room to increase my charge, so I'll be doing that and reporting back
I am going to try RL26 starting at 58 grains and going up.

Hit pressure at 58gr today, speed still chillin at 3100fps. Groups are under 1 MOA from 56.5 up to 58gr though.
That being said I'm going to stick with my N560, at 3275fps
