H1000

I've been running IMR8133 and found a good load but some H1000 popped up and I grabbed it. How do you guys like it for the STW?

H1000 is probably the best all around powder in the STW. It will work well with all bullet weights. You may get more velocity out of some other powders, but you cannot go wrong with H1000. Accurate, consistent and very temp stable

Thanks folks. After some testing, yep H1000 has been very consistent and works great in my STW with 160 grain SSTs. I stick to 76 grains and get a modest 3036 FPS but that keeps the brass and primer pockets in good shape.

H-1000's also my favorite in my STW. The 162 gr ELD-X's like it, too.

I find h1000 the easiest to use over the RL powders.
