H-450 ??

I came across a couple pounds of H-450, can't find any info on it. Anybody ever use it.

I used to shoot it in my 25-06. If memory serves me right, it's a ball powder that has a very simiilar burn rate of h4831.

Your memory is working.
I located a burn rate chart with it listed. Falls between H 4350 and H 4831, equal to IMR 4831.

I have an older Hodgdon manual and it lists many loads for H450. I have a pound of it but never tried it. The Hodgdon data shows that for many calibers and bullets weights H450 produces the greatest velocity.
