Anyone have any suggestions for a gunsmith for a rebarrel project. I have a remington bdl in 243 that I am considering rebarrelling in 308. Not sure yet if I want to bastardize it with the savage screw on barrel or just go with a regular rebarrel job. Either way I would like to get the action trued, lugs lapped etc. I have gone to schlereths gun shop near lincoln, ne in the past but am not sure if he does rebarrel/ builds and if so if they results are good or bad. Any feedback would be welcome or other suggestions for a gunsmith near lincoln appreciated.
