Gun Safes? I got very lucky!

I found a vault on craigslist. The seller was desperate to sell it. It had been stored at a Friend's business for 7 years and the "friend" told the seller to get it off his property, or he would have it hauled to the dump and have the seller pay for it!

I came along at the right time, basically I got for about free to move it away. Close friend with a lowboy and bobcat hauled it!

It is in one of my secure warehouses and has a dual combination and time lock. It takes two people to open each lock. A bit cumbersome but no one can get me alone to open it.

OK, I was welding in shorts, yeah, yeah, a big no-no! Please don't do this your own. Luckily I did not get hurt. I like the music I added in, but most people turn down the sound

How I wish I had one.
Loading components, firearms and whatever else in one very secure and safe location.

How good is the fire rating on those? That's a topic I've never researched

Fire rating? Give you an idea, there was a similar vault, ground zero when the atomic bomb detonated at Hiroshima. The documents inside were not even singed.

Tried to get my wife to try out "safe sex" inside, but, nooooooo!

If I had the money I would buy a fire safe door and build a big underground reinforced concrete bunker.
I would build it big enough to be a root cellar and a gun vault.
