the following info. is from a friend of mine.

I am very happy w/ them. Performance on game out to 300yrds is very impressive. Have not shot much long range w/ them yet. Was able to hold sub moa w/ 150g hv in a bone stock Browning A-bolt 30-06 out to 750yrds last summer. To shoot the higher BC models you need to have a fast twist barrel. They are a little tough to get. Their web site is very informative. Follow their loading instructions closely and they will work very well.

Steve---in that 06 did you find you had to add an extra 1-3 grains over other bullets?? I've got a box of the same here and the little I've played with them they seem really slow. At a buck a pop I'd rather get some advice that wast alot of time and $$$ working up.

We shot a lot of the .30s and I still have five boxes left over from our testing. They were a very, very fast (160gr HV at 3500+ fps out of a 26" barrelled 30 STW) and extremely accurate bullet as Mr Henson mentioned above, but since the drag is so great on them (big meplat), they did not meet the criteria we were looking for as a longer range bullet option.
Specifically, on three successive days we shot two shots each day into the same target using the same aiming reference and the six-shot group wound up under .375" when shot over the three day period.... But, they flew like bricks as noticed when we shot them at 400 and 600 yards and, since they fly like bricks they will shed a lot of energy as well. A lot of bullets that are much cheaper and easier to obtain fly better and probably perform as well at the shorter ranges as the GS customs. Their .22s and 6MMs are impressive game getters as well. But for longer ranges they are not a viable option for us.
Following our disappointing zeroing and drop testing, we then performed some BC testing and sent our results to the manufacturer and asked him for a resolution and the result was that they removed the BCs from their website..... However, I just checked their website and the new BCs are now listed.
They are friendly folks and very easy to work with. Too bad the bullets just don't fly as well as some that are more readily available.......
I guess the perfect bullet would be one that flew like the Lost River bullets and expanded like the GS customs............. And that boys is just around the corner I am told............

Go to the GS Custom web site use their load data, and their process for load development and you won't have to go through very many bullets. You will use a mag primer, and powder that is faster than for normal bullets. You will achieve muzzle velocities that will be 100 to 200 fps more than you are used to. You will be able to shoot the 150's out of your 30-06 at near 300 win mag velocities. I shoot the 150's at nearly 3200fps. 160's at 3100fps. This summer I will play more w/ them at long range and see what happens.
