Thank you all for the informative information. Thank you for sharing your expertise and knowledge.

I use to hunt big game for many years but have been out of it now for about 15 years and I am just getting back into shooting. I purchased a Weatherby .257 mag, a Leopold VXIII boone and crockett scope, and a Leopold RX4 range finder.

With the vast desert here in Southwest Idaho my interest is in shooting coyotes at longer distance for the challenge of accuracy.
