Between a buddy and I we have used about 6-7 of them. About half of them have been sub 1/2" guns and the other 3 or so were 3/4"-1 1/2". For us it's not too bad since we do our own gunsmithing but if I was paying someone I'd buy a good barrel as the chances for a marginal/bad barrel goes down considerably.

I have one that I built a 6.5-06 ackley on and its a great shooter. I wouldn't hessitate to grab another.
