First of all thanks for all the replies on which scope to get. I am very happy with my selection. My scope came with a brouchure for the zero stop feature. But I cannot seem to figure out how to do it, if any one has some "dummy" proof instructions please provide :D
Here the scope is one my Remington 700 22-250.

I deff. dont need the 20 MOA Ken Farrell base that I needed for my other scope. It has 70+ MOA of travel left.

Did you pay for the Zero stop?
It is an extra thing NOT included with every scope.
You probably just got the instructions!
The zero stop was limited to law enforcement at one time, Don't know if this is still the case.

The general public can get zero stop now but it runs about 100.00 more on the scope. from what i can see in your pics your scope does not have the zero stop feature, prolly just came with a brochure to advertise it.

A zero stop is not hard to make. After May 1, I will start a thread on how to make one. I can probably milk that thread for 20-30 posts and win Len's wind meter. I need a good wind meter, the one I have only measures the wind where I am but I am sure Len's will measure it all the way to the target.:D

Welcome to the Nightforce snipe hunt. Most of us go through it the first time and a few of us chase that serial number around the second time. By the time you buy your third one, you will remember to copy the serial number down before you mount it and cover it up with the rear ring.:D

PS

It might be on your invoice so check that before you unmount the scope.

All I can say is WOW!!! Sighted in the scope yesterday did some "long range rock shooting" toady, and some prarie dog shooting. This scope is awesome well worth the money spent, I was a little skeptical at first. Didnt get to do much long pdog shooting but my longest kill today was 562 1st shot a little high, saw where it hit wit the NP-R1 and held under for that amount with the reticle...hit...first p-dog ive seen fly about 2 ft in the air at that distance with my 22-250. Thanks for all the replies.

Warning! This thread is more than 17 years ago old.
It's likely that no further discussion is required, in which case we recommend starting a new thread. If however you feel your response is required you can still do so.
