Press the button on the remote and it ranges and adjusts your aiming point automatically.
This came with a tenpoint crossbow package.
No issues with it. Someone will be really pleased with it--especially if they shoot unknown distances.
It's worth adding--this worked pretty fantastic for subsonic work at unknown ranges and with uncommon setups.
