I go through game cameras like crazy .
Can't seem to get any to last more than a year . To list all I have used would take way too much time . I use on average 15 to 20 cameras all year . That is coming to a end ,replacing them every 6 months is breaking the bank or should I say making the wife want to spend more in shoes lol .
I would like to stay under $150 ea and still have a good camera. I have spent $300 on the so called good ones with poor results. I miss the old black ones that took 8 d batteries and lasted 5 years. Moultrie please bring them back . What works for you guy's?

I've had 6 cuddebacks, 2 moulties, 1 browning and tried a couple bushnell this past year. Have had problems with all my cuddebacks and my one browning. The moultries worked good for three years then both quit. So far no problems with the bushnells, but they're less than a year old. I'll probably buy a couple more bushnells this summer

Cheap wild game innovations is all I have experience with. Mine go on public land so i spend as little as I can. Friends have had cameras stolen. If any of mine walk away I will only be ****ed about losing the photos.

I have the same problems you have all experienced with game cameras. I have not found the right camera. I have found the right place to buy them. These guys really take care of their customers. Give Trail Cam Pro a try.

Decide if you want a low glow, blackout, or flash type camera then look for a review in that class. I've got a million pictures & videos of animals staring at and shying away from the cameras, especially deer and coyotes, so they do notice the flash or glow from the cameras and it can effect their behavior. For public land I use the Primos proof cam 02 & 03 because they're cheap and easy on batteries. I had one out for over 6 months that took over 10,000 pictures. I usually buy last years model on clearance from Ebay in the $60 range. For private land I use Bushnell trophy cam HD or similar in the $110 range(last years model also), much better but equally good on batteries. Read thru the reviews, they are pretty thorough and have demo pictures of day, night, video, etc. and list the pros & cons of each camera.

The 4 lions are about 130' from the camera which was 20' in the air, but not bad for a $50 camera

I've been very happy with both Reconyx cameras that I have. Doesn't fit into your price range, but I've had both of them over 10 years without an issue.

I will never buy a Covert camera again. Their triggers suck.

I started using Browning cameras this season and have been impressed with them. I believe I've found my new go to camera.

I've had 6 moultrie 888I and 6 999i Cameras.. ohh AND a mountrie 30 gallon FEEDER. After all of those I can say this. NEVER AGAIN. Even the feeder was crap. These cameras die half the time or suck my battery dry overnight ( randomly). I run battery kits for every camera where they are hooked up to a big battery. Sometimes the SD card would get stuck in the side. Overall they were just poor compared Bushnell aggressors or E3's

Last year I bought 4 Bushnell E3 cameras and I was impressed for the price. They easily get 2x the distance that my moultries did and the batteries last way longer.

Dont buy the moultrie Koolaid, you are buying overpriced crap. Try the E3's if you want better trigger times and more ditsance.

.
Yes, I have 2 Aggressors and they are very good cameras for the money, lightening fast triggers, great pictures, and easy on batteries too.

That is some very good information guys , I think I will buy a couple
Bushnell's ,wild game ,Recon's
And put them out for a year and post my results . I have used most of the cameras listed . I have learned one thing for certain that if I buy it from Wally World it is junk ,I have had countless numbers of brand new cameras never work from the get go .
Warranties have save me some money too but the wait to get them back Sucks !

I put cheap cameras out on public land and purchase them from Dick's sporting goods when they go on sale. I get the 8MP Wildgame Innovations for around $35. A little bit more disposable at that price but I have had good luck with them so far.

We run 130 cameras give or take annually on our lease in Sonora, MX. With so many cameras, we shy away from anything too expensive, but we have quite an eclectic mix of different brands, etc. Most will work, but for durability, daytime, nightime and video quality it's tough to beat the Browning micro series. If you look around and shop specials, ebay, etc. you can find them new in the $90 range. There are certainly cheaper cameras that work and more expensive cameras that may be better, but these have offered us the best bang for our buck over the past 5 years.

Hope this helps!
