Gain -Twist barrels

Guys, Does anybody have any experience with a gain-twist barrel( accuracy).I was thinking of adding one to my 338-378 wby.It's a Ron Smith barrel made in Alberta.Thanks for any info.(Great site)

Hey, great to hear from someone from the "wet" coast. I am from Summerland,BC. From what I have heard, the Ron Smith barrels are very well made and accurate. A great contact person would be Nobby Uno on the Island. He is a very well known gunsmith that has installed many of these barrels. 250-338-6038.

I am looking into one for a project rifle I am planning. Have you talked to Ron yet? Another great choice would be a Gaillard.
