I have finally gotten around to reading litz' book and the way i understand it g1/g7 are just different predictions, and the g7 most closly represents what modern long range bullets will do. I us the shooter ballistics program on my android phone and it seems to be exceptionally close out to 1200 so I decided to compare my calculated bc and bryans g7 bc for the 300 smk out of my 338 lapus and they were dang close out to 800 then about 1000 they started to differ about an inch and then out at 1800 there was about 16 inches difference. Does this sound pretty close to results you guys have seen by comparing the 2 different factors? I found it to be very interesting.
