Not exactly a rifle designed for long range hunting but...For sale is a 1951 vintage Savage 99F in .308 Winchester with a Weaver 60-B 2.5X scope(standard crosshair/made in El Paso). It's used and has seen a bit of use but is in overall good condition. The Wood has a nice grain and deep finish(the small smudge on the stock is residue from a sticker and is now gone). There's some wear around the front sling swivel and the aftermarket recoil pad appears to have dried out a little but it's in serviceable condition. The lower price is not because of condition, but more in the interest of a speedy sale.
