What is the weight and overall lengthI have for sale an excellent condition Optolyth TBS 100 APO/HDF angled spotting scope with 30-60X variable zoom eyepiece. 100mm fluorite HD lenses for incredible detail and clarity. 100% Made in Germany utilizing Schott glass. With previous high end spotting scopes (Zeiss Diascope 85 & Leica Televid) it was often difficult to identify .223 hits on targets at 300, 400, 500 and 600 yards. Especially if it was very windy or there was lots of heat mirage. The Optolyth allows me to quickly identify hits on target for .223 and .308 caliber easily at 500, 600 yards and beyond. This spotter is also phenomenal for wildlife/bird observation. I can spot animals in low light that I could not with the Zeiss or Leica.
Never dropped or abused-always handled with care. The lenses have no scratches, marks, or damage of any kind. Only selling because I want to get into a smaller/easier to transport scope for hunting/backpacking. I have the original box which will be included. I have plenty of references from numerous different gun forums I would be happy to provide. If located near NW Montana a face-to-face sale is a possibility as well.
I paid $2850 ($2450 for body plus $400 for eyepiece). Sell for $1950 shipped in continental USA (elsewhere pays extra shipping). Price is firm, you will not find this scope anywhere near this price. Payment via USPS Money Order or PayPal (Gift option or add 4% for fee). Please contact me via Private Message if interested.
Would consider trade for a Vortex Razor Gen II 4.5-27x56mm scope or similar high end scope that is in excellent condition. I place a trade value of $2250 on the spotter.
I have for sale an Optolyth TBS 100 APO/HDF angled spotting scope with 30-60X variable zoom eyepiece. Three element 100mm Fluorite HD lenses for incredible color, detail and clarity. 100% Made in Germany utilizing Schott glass. With other high end spotting scopes that I've owned (Zeiss Diascope 85 & Leica Televid 77) it was often difficult for me to identify .223 hits on targets at 400-600 yards. Especially if it was very windy or there was lots of heat mirage. With this spotter I can more easily see hits with .223 out to 600 yards. And .308 hits out to 1,000 yards are much easier to see. Spotter is also phenomenal for wildlife/bird observation. I can see animals and birds with much greater detail and long after the Zeiss and Leica became useless due to insufficient light.
Always handled and treated with care; never dropped or abused. Scope was used exclusively at the range mounted on a sturdy tripod. Always transported in a Pelican style hard case. The lenses have no scratches, dings, marks, etc. Only selling because I need something smaller and lighter for hunting trips and backpacking.
New cost on this spotter is $2850 ($2450 for body plus $400 for eyepiece). Sell for $1900 shipped, firm. Payment via USPS Money Order or PayPal Friends & Family (+3% for regular payment). If buyer is in or near Montana a face to face sale may be possible as well. I have plenty of references from various gun forums I can provide. Please contact me via Private Message if interested.
