This Herter's U9, BSA rifle in 7mm Remington Mag, it is in great shape. I had a gun smith borescope the barrel and he said it looked like it has not been fired! I understood it belonged to a bird hunter and was almost never used. The rifle, scope, rings and the recoil pad all has the Herter's logo on them. Nothing has been changed out, this rifle is all original. The scope is stuck on 3 power so it is free when you buy the rifle.

I have that same rifle in 300 win mag. It has killed more deer than any other rifle I have owned.

4 years ago I broke the follower spring and it has been a pain in the buttocks to find another one.

Would you happen to have an extra follower spring or know what might work. I have tried several from mauser, to weatherby, to sako and have had no luck.
Let me know if you do or have knowledge of what might work

I would think a gunsmith would be able to make a spring that would work?
