Mike Bryant built 338 lapua improved. Rifle consists of:
Stiller single shot tac338 action
ken farrel steel 1 piece picatinny scope base j-b welded to the action
jewel trigger with safety
28" Broughton 9.3 twist heavily fluted heavy palma taper
A5 mcmillan stock non-adjustable pillar bedded
Holland muzzle brake
includes full length bushing die, wilson seating die, 100 pieces of formed lapua brass
$2800

Rifle is coated with duracoat flat black. Notice in the pics, the coating did not hold up well to the sharp edges. So long story short, rifle will need to be repainted to look it's best.

Scope, rings, sling, bipod not included

As usual, I'd like to know how it shoots; how old it is; and have you had a chance to stretch it out? Inquireing minds want to know.

The rifle has 360 rounds through it. Berger's didn't shoot worth a hoot but smk's with very little load development shot .5moa at 300yds. Current load with the smks is 102gr retumbo with the 300gr smk @ 2980fps.

I've not shot it beyond 1k, so can't really say that I've had a chance to run it out.

The rifle was finished in October 2009, just before season and I have not had a chance to "fine tune" the load.

At this point I'm not looking for any trades. Just too many projects to pay for.
