Can you give me the maximum specs (bolt face, length of action, etc) in this action. Would it take a 408 Cheytac case?

How long is the 408 CheyTac case? This action has the standard "Magnum" bolt face.
No that action will not take the 408 safely. You are going to have to go to a custom action.

Action is 9.25" long, 1.285" wide and the ejection port is 3.25" long.
