So in North Carolina, Republican Senator Richard Burr, one of our Second amendment supporters is facing what appears to be a tough senate re election challenge. His opponent is most definitely NOT a supporter of private firearms ownership.

Here is an article that pretty much sums up his opponents views on the right no keep and bear arms.

Burr Challenger Pushes for Background Checks

She emphasises the importance of "background checks" (which we already have) and then their is the tired old "common sense gun reforms" line of crap. We all know that "common sense gun reform" is code for a master registry and a re instated AWB.

This article shows her trying, as an NC state rep, to block some pro gun legislation

Here is another, this one is a bit interesting

Deborah Ross Warned About

Here is an interesting quote from the article

"Her only mention of terrorism is in reference to her belief that guns should not be sold to individuals on the no fly list—an intelligence tool created after 9/11 that is opposed by the ACLU, whether it is being used as a gun control tool or to keep suspected terrorists off planes." Kinda odd isn't it, when she was in the ACLU she was against the creation of the no fly list and now she wants to use it as gun control tool.

So, all of you from NC make sure that you let all of your fellow gun owners know that Ross was no friend of the Second Ammendment as a state rep and will be a horrible threat to our gun rights at the federal level.

The ACLU is no friend to the Second Amendment. I remember when Heller was decided, the ACLU in all its hypocrisy said they stand by their interpretation as the Second Amendment being a collective right whatever the hell a collective right is. The gravy on the mash potatoes was watching a few pro 2A liberals complain the ACLU first began deleting pro 2a comments on their website followed by shutting it down.
