Hello looking for advice and options on what you guys have planted for forage beans for deer plots I know there's a lot of options out there looking for what you tried what worked and didn't work. Going to be planting roughly two to three acres

I have had pretty good luck with black Laredo soybeans. Very hardy and grow in just about any type of soil. I've seen them re-seed themselves as well....

I plant Millborn seeds "wildlife managers mix" it is a blend of 2 forage, 2 tall high yielding & 1 climbing type, 4 maturity groups allowing deer to feed on mature beans & green leaf tissue. 50lbs/ac.

Scatter a mix of pollinator seeds, soybeans, and then drill milo, or grain sorghum and millet over the top
