I have a Plano Bonecollector gun case. I rushed cutting the foam inssert and did a total hack job. I've tried to call Plano but their customer service sucks. Does anyone know where I can order replacement pluck foam for the case. I tried a local fabric store and the cost was going to be at least $50 for crappy foam. I f I'm paying that much I would rather get some pluck foam so this doesnt happen again.

Hobby Lobby and JoAnn Fabric.

Personally, I wouldn't carry my dirty socks in a Plano. It's Pelican or nothing.

Plano is fine for tackle boxes. Thats about it.

Always trace the outline of the firearm on the backside, backwards from what it will be and cut it with an electric carving knife or a serrated hand knife holding the knife vertical and cut on the INSIDE of the outline.

Pick and pluck foams works pretty good for pistol cases but sucks for a rifle. It looksa as tacky as a hack job.

I agree for the cheap *** ones at Big 5 but the Bone collector model is good to go the pelican isn't much better than the bone collector model is and the bone collector model is about half the price the only thing I don't like is all the Bone Collector hype and it sounds a little fruity. Thanks for the tips

'Bone Collector' sounds like a truckstop floosey......

I have a couple cheap Plano's that I use to put guns in to go to the club. Thats it. Didn't know they made a 'real' gun case.

To me, Plano and Tasco go hand in hand.....:D

Finally got ahold of Plano today they sold me a replacement pluck foam insert for 12 bucks plus 10 for shipping. I pretty happy with that....
