Fluted Remington Varmint contour

Muller Works cut rifled bbl Remington Varmint contour.224, and I ordered it to be fluted with six straight flutes. Is this a bad idea? Will it alter the inner dimensions?

flutes introduce a possible variable. Feel lucky? I have been unlucky twice, and a dozen that were fine.

Both that were fluted "culls" were cut rifle barrels, supposedly the fluting has less effect on cut rifle barrels.

The unlucky barrels were they heavy bbls?

I shot a new steel proof #3 to see how well it shot....did well....
Pulled it..sent it to LRI and had it twist fluted....seems to shoot better....
My goto hunting rifle....
