Learned a ton before I registered. I've always been pretty much hunting focused, but now I wand to improve my long-range skills. I'm a big .270 Win and 338 Win Mag fan and have been reloading for both for 25 plus years. This summer I am going to develop a long-range load with the VLD and wonder what weight bullet I should start with for the .270 out to 600 yards maximum. I also a trapper,(2 Spring Beaver on this morning's check) and carry concealed, (.45 ACP 1911), bowhunt, black powder and just ordered a crossbow as I'm not 40 anymore.
