So I bought a rifle from a local builder in my neighboring county. I have never owned an AR but have shot them when I worked for the prison and several friends have them. So I wanted a 6.5 and was on the verge of buying a Rock River when a friend recommended a guy in Madison county that builds ARs and has done so for a few neighboring sheriffs offices. I got a 6.5 Creedmoor with a 22" barrel + a sound forward muzzle brake. It shoots really good and I thought I'd show to y'all... I figured the coyotes around here should fear for there lives as I also just got a new varmint light to mount on the underside of the rifle.

It's an easy 3/4"-1" rifle. Shots 143 eldx factory Ammo great. This was zeroing... first shot was low and then shot a few to see group and last one in bullseye was after final adjustment. The one to the far right I knew I pulled.

I'm not sure what you're asking... it's a 308 family cartridge and uses the same bolt face. Only difference is the barrel is chambered for the 6.5 Creedmoor. The guy that built it for me said anytime I want to run a 243 Winchester or a 308 to let him simply swap out the barrel. Only adjustment would be to the gas block to regulate the gas. The lower uses standard AR10 mags and will hold and cartridge that's similar to a 308 Winchester. It'll hold 6.5 Creedmoor 243 win and 308 win for sure cause I've tried them in the magazine to see how they'd fit. I'm thinking of having him build me another in 243 Winchester for coyote hunting.

Nice gun and nice shooting. 6.5cr is such a nice caliber in the AR10/SR25 platform. Soft shooting, flat and accurate.

Trigger is pretty good. I ain't sure on the lb pull but it's in the 3 lb range. Yeah I use it lot more than my bolt rifle down here in Fl.

Looks good! I have a 243win AR10 and gas issues have yet too be corrected! Factory ammo(win super x 100sp) that leaves rifling marks on the bullets when chambered. Short throat/lead and will be lengthening it and then start back on gas issues. With sierra 90gr fmj coal 2.350" ( manual has 2.650"), .030" short.
