I am thinking of buying a 22 K Hornet and I will have to fire form brass. Does fire forming hurt a barrel? Will it shorten life to a noticeable degree?

If it is a kilborn K Hornet (There are several different K Hornets) it will fire standard 22 Hornet loads
and be used to hunt at the same time. (Hunt with standard Hornet loads and fire form at the same
time). this way you will get use while your fire forming your brass.
Prvi Partizan has good ammo that is inexpensive and the brass is good for fire forming.
Note; The 22 hornet cases are very thin so some neck splitting is to be expected durring
fire forming.
