Ive had this rifle for a couple years now and never really had a bullet that shined in it. I finally started loading the 180 hybrids and they are a big winner i think. I should point out also that my 375 yard group shown is smaller than my 200 yard groups. Not sure how that works! I recently moved and dont have access to a longer place to shoot and farmers arent to willing to let me stretch out on their land. What do you guys think?
The specs:
Accurized rem 700 la
26" #6 lilja 9twist
Mcmillan htg stock
Luepold 4.5-14x40 lrt mark4
Alberta tactical 20 moa rail and rings

Load:
Win brass on its 4th firing.
Fed 215M primers
H1000
180 hybrids

The group measured 1.25". (Its the 3 on the left)

Thanks! I was disappointed at first about the low shot but then like you said its a pretty good group considering the range

Good groups and a good lookin rifle...Unfortunately the handle is on the wring side for me. :D

Keep us updated more on the 180 Hybrids. I have been curious about them as well for my 7RM and 7 STW.

I plan on using them on deer this year and seeing how they do. From what ive read they will do fine. But i sure cant wait to stretch it out to 1000.

3 shots through my prochrono said 2956, 2950, 2959. But from my 200 zero to 375 the group was high. So im not sure if its accurate but should be in that ballpark though. Im at 69gr of H1000. The brass im using for developement is going on its 5th reload and primer pockets are tight. No primer cratering or ejector marks. So i believe its in the safe zone.

Work up to your rifles max though. Dont start to high, as always.

Nice im running the 180 hybrid out of my 7saum cant wait to see what they do on deer! Hopefully you can talk those farmers into letting you stretch it out for more tests.

69.0 grains was the winner in Win brass for me and 180s too. I've tried several different primers with this load with unchanged accuracy so I also ended up going with 215s because they produce about 40 fps more velocity than CCI 250s. Looks like you've got it shooting well. Congrats.

Thanks guys for the info! Like I said, I've got one 7mag that's all over the place! I've tried 160sierra, 169 SMK,168 Berger VLD,180 VLD, as far as powder I've tried H-1000,IMR 4350,4831sc, I've got some Retumbo to try! I'm using CCI 250 primers. With the 160's an 168's I'm at 71gr h-1000, 65gr-4831sc,64gr-4350 all in Winchester brass. When I tried the 180 VLD's I was at 69gr of H-1000. I've even restocked the rifle! It's a model 700 rem, 7mm mag, PSS, 26 in sendero style barrel. Scope has been ckd, it's good. Best group I've got with it has been 3/4 to 1in at a 100. Guess for some that would be good, (not sayin I'm the best shot,I'm not!lol)but I do hold standerds high as far as accuracy goes! Any suggestions will be appreciated! Thanks! Not high jacking, just need help! Thanks!!

Stop paying attention to 100 yard groups. Shoot for groups at 300 yards. Start your load close to the lans shoot for velocity. Then when you get to the correct velocity adjust the seating depth while shooting for groups until you find the spot that your rifle likes.
