For Sale:
This is a great opportunity to acquire a switch barrel rifled in .224 for next to nothing! It was bought and created for use in a switch barrel .223 Ackley Improved project. I have since decided to use its 1-9 twist identical twin only. So I want to sale the 1-14 twist variant to reduce my loss some what. It most likely will shoot 40 to 55 grain .224 bullets to great affect.
DETAILS:
Hart Precision Stainless Steel Barrel ($290.00)
.224 caliber, twist 1-14", cut to 24" OAL, pre-threaded to M700 Action and chambered in .223 Ackley Improved ($150.00)
Bead blasted ($25.00)
Fluted ($160.00)
Muzzle Braked ($175.00)
Total cost to buy and build this barrel from scratch is $800.00! The barrel has never had a round thru it!
$450.00 shipped, OBO
It can simply be used (as is) for a .223 AI, or easily re-chambered for a suitable yet larger .22 center fire, like the 22-250 or .220 Swift.
I will post a picture tomorrow.
