Finaly getting my rifle! 270x300RUM

The gumsmith called me this morning and said that he had trued up the action installed the sako extractor, and was about to thread and chamber the barrel. Got home around 4 o'clock and had an e-mail the rifle was on its way. It might be here as soon as friday, but considering I'll be crossing my rifle into Mexico friday and staying through sunday I hope comes monday. Man I was excited about Mexico deer hunt but now I kinda wish I would be here to get it on friday so I could take it to the range.

Curious how this rifle/cartridge is doing for you! How about some results/details.

Check out the "having problems getting cnosistant velocity" thread. Beyond what is there I won't be doing much with the rifle until after the first of the year. Been to busy hunting.
