Finally made it to 1000

Yep after a year of having my 300 win mag sendero I've finally broken the 1000 yard barrier. It took me some time to find a good load but finally found one (400+ rounds). I'm using 215 bergers with rp brass. CCI200's and 71.3 gr. Of h4831sc. It's making just over 2800fps. today I set up a plate at 1079 yards and dialed 27 moa elevation and 2 minutes for wind. Sent it down range and hit 2/3 shots on the plate which is 18x22". Mirage was absolutely horrible! The hits were the two on the plate that didn't penetrate. The others were from shooting another outing at 850 in heavy winds.

I've got a ruger american predator that's up next for the 1000 yard mark. It shouldn't have any issues getting there shoots way better then it should for a $400 rifle.

It's in the almighty 6.5 cm. Lol! I do really like the cartridge and the rifle but the stock is horrible. I wish they would make a decent stock I could throw it in that's not a Boyds or a mdt chassis. I'd love the chassis but this is a hunting rifle.
