Does anyone have experience with good case options for the Kowa 884?
My use is packing into glassing/hunting spots, so I'm not wanting to add unnecessary bulk or weight. Right now I just stuff it in my pack with a towel wrapped around it, not very ideal. I'm not against a stay on case, but most of my searching has just involved removable cases.
My top two picks so far are the Mystery Ranch Spotting Scope Sling (haven't yet confirmed if this will even fit though) or the Marsupial spotting scope case.
I tend to like the apparent design features of the MR option better than the Marsupial, and the price point is better. I don't have hands on experience with either, so I don't know if padding or other factors should sway me one way or the other.
I don't know how these compare to the factory Kowa case options, so any input would be welcome.
