2nd day of the season in the Shirley Basin. Just about 150 yards, Remington SPS in .308, swapped out the tupper-ware for a Boyds. 168gr SMKs make BIG exit wounds. This shot hit a rib on the way out, and the doe ran something like 100 yards before piling up. In fact we saw dust from the bullet on the far side and thought the shot was low, and the doe ran FAST like she was not hit at all. Second doe later that day did the same, but ran more like 500 yards. Fist size exit wounds on both animals, right through the boiler rooms. Never seen an animal hit with an exit wound that size run like these did. In any case the finace hit both, one shot each, off a Bog-Pod. I'm proud.
