Factory rifle accuracy

This is just a general question that popped in my head as I sit here feeding my 8 month old.

If a factory rifle is inaccurate, most will say the barrel. But could it be a bad chamber job? So having a smith re-chamber it, could that save a rifle?

It depends on how bad and how good your gunsmith is. It might (?) not be worth the co$t.
 
~350-400$ to chamber
you can get chambered "pre-fits" for that or a little bit more that don't need much smithing for common actions
