This just came over the wire so to speak an article form the Casper Star. https://trib.com/news/state-and-regional/biologist-wants-to-train-wolves-to-stay-away-from-humans/article_e2ad3a77-2f29-5707-ab41-9818a2e65f4b.html?fbclid=IwAR3p7NhnpeyCPqy78inT8bCFX4Qw0D2WgUu1cCBROlvMF1IheAglOvRnHWo Isn't that what hunters do. That is why they are so hard to hunt. The first year they had a quota of 220 wolves in Montana I laughed. After shooting the few tame park wolves the hunting got tough. At seasons end they had killed 166 wolves. They have yet to reach the quota so now there is no quota. Note that the female Wolf in question was 7 1/2 years old and 80 pounds so much for the 200 lbs theory. I live in wolf country and we run 300 cow calf operation. I also work in the A-B Wilderness north of Yellowstone park packing for the Forest Service. In 6 years I have seen one wolf outside the park. We have seen sign and heard several more. But since they cleaned out the elk herd they have moved on to where the prey is. At least half of everything posted above is fake news. Henry
