My gun smith Alex Wheeler of Wheeler Accuracy in Dillon, Mt. first told me of your site when I mentioned I was having trouble sell a long range custom 300 Win Mag made by Clay Spencer. Here in Montana we have a lot of long range hunting and after many years of shooting deer and antelope in the 400 yd ranges with a 243, I decided it was too easy so I decided to develop 25 x 284 which has become a 6.5 x 284 for a new challenge in the 600 - 800 yd. We do a lot of prairie dog hunting in Eastern Montana in the 200-300 which has also become too easy so Alex is building a 1000yd 6MM BRA gun to push dog hunting to 400 - 600 yd challenge, unless the wind is blowing.
