Time to clear out guns I no longer use or just never got time. This is one of the never got time. I purchased this a year ago as Encore barrel and stock package. Now it incudes the the SS Encore frame and Nikon Monarch 5-15 scope with caps I added. Been setting in the safe and just no time/desire to work up everything. Plus no real use for it here.
It is a 444 marlin case neck down to 6mm (aka 6x444 or 243 White). All metal work was performed by David White of D&T Custom Gunworks who is now deceased. He was big promotor of this cartridge
Barrel is a stainless Schneider, 26 inches long, 1/8 twist, using polygon rifling. Barrel measurements are 1.228 at breech, and .885 at muzzle. Round count was 17 when I bought and still 17.
Wood is by Tony s Forends and Grips. Piller bedded. Barrel has been flutted straight. Custom scope mounts by EWG.
Includes 300 rds of new brass, primed and ready to be fire formed. Includes a set of Redding dies.
Very little data on this cartridge but I found several other users of this and they are getting 3600 fps with 90 TGKs. I will include their info. IMR 4350 and 4831 were their powders so H 4350 and H4831 should work also.
Rifle shipped to FFL who will accept from individual is $1500. Other items shipped direct to buyer.
