electronic guru needed please

I just bought one of these fancy little gadgets that have altimeter,b pressure, temp. How the hell do i set this thing up. My local weather station says 30.35bp and 2100-2188 ft elevation my gadget says 28.48 bp and 1369 ft. Any help would be greatly app.

la crosse xg-55: I figured out how to change the bp and altitude, how do i set the bp to absolute so i dont have to worry about altitude
