EGW scope base

Has anyone here used the EGW dual extension base? I am curious if the rear extension will allow clearance for the bolt on a Rem 700 LA with a stock bolt handle? Just want to make sure before I order one for a new rifle.

Yes it will, the bolt handle doesn't go any higher than the top of the receiver, where it meets the bolt body. I don't think you need any rear extension, I have the front extended one. Put your scope where you need it and see.
