What are some of the pros and cons of each of the cartridges in .338? We already have a Lapua in the house so im not looking to buy one. :)
In another thread someone said that the EDGE fans have a long list of reasons why they love it so much over the Lapua or rum. What are some of those reasons?

The LM takes an action that will feed a wide case so the Edge is more desirable if you wish to use a Rem 700 action. So with the LM a custom or a Mark V are kinda the way to go.

Some talk of the LM being more expensive. I don't buy it. The LM brass is twice the price initially, but lasts 3 times or more longer when loaded to the same charge comapred to the Rem brass. So I say it is actually cheaper in the long run, and you get all the bennifits on great brass. I also feel you could push the LM brass to higher levels if you wanted to run at max. But I choose not to and my brass is still going after 14 firings.

The Rum runs about 100 FPS or a little more behind the other two with 300 gr bullets. They are all great long range hammers.

I completely agree with that.
