not unless she's bigger that than him, or it's controlled training. Anything lb for lb, nope.

If you're training your teenage girl to fight guys that are smaller than her, then that is a disservice. That's not usually the threat.

Why are their weight classes?
 
I wrestled and fought guys heavier and bigger than me and either won or beat them. Weight classes even out a sport, fighting is far different. I never saw weight classes on the street. I didn't see refs or rules on the street either.

Cool that what I've been saying.

my point is if equal weight gives a sporting change, it means that strength is a part of the equation.

And like you said, and as I've been saying, the streets are unequal.

You're not going to have a teenage girl suplex a grown *** dude.
You don't want to be on the ground when their homies jump in.

This woman is about the same height and bigger than the assailant. The assailant looked like he was half dedicated and still she got man handled and luckily, he didn't have a real disregard for human life.


That's the best case of what the streets look like.

It happens this quick.


He wasn't fully committed to what he was trying to do. He let her go.

Neither of those two in the knife video look trained to me. And you keep bringing up the suplex like it's a strength move. You do need back and leg strength, but nothing out of the normal wrestling strength. I see it as more or a technique and setup issue than strength. And I didn't land on my head when doing it. My opponent's back and shoulders did.
 
I didn't subscribe to landing on my head when doing a suplex. Like the girl in the video I offset at the end and had my opponent land first. In a street fight looking for hard objects for my opponent to land on first if the situation warranted. Here's a version I would do. We can just agree to disagree.

Yeah. You mean where there's fair weight classes. Not the 120 lb guy trying to do that to the 240 lb heavyweight. "Normal strength" is guy strength.

I've also wrestled, spared and fought long enough to know real opponents don't let you do that. You're not throwing a person who's doesn't want to be thrown cleanly. We aren't talking about toddlers and prepubescents where girls are bigger than boys for a few years.
