It might be a little late in the game based on the constant ringing in my ears at this point, but I need to do something to preserve what hearing I have left. I really like electronic ear muffs (currently using Walkers) so I can hear conversations while at a range. I need to start double protecting my ears when shooting rifles with brakes or shooting outrageously loud handguns. Using foam earplugs under my muffs defeats the benefits of the electronic muffs. I've never tried the electronic ear plugs. Has anyone tried both electronic plugs and muffs at the same time? It seems like it would work, but no experience on my part.
